This port is so good, it feels like the game was originally designed for touchscreen. If you love classic twitch arcade gaming, this game is a must have!

The game is great. Wish multiplayer was an option. Maybe Bluetooth.

It begs for it. Unlimited continues would also be welcome. More than happy to support games like this provided there are options to play in the way the player chooses.

This is a truly amazing package. You get 4 games for one price. The controls are tight and responsive. I cant be happier with my purchase.

1st off, the presentation is very nice. the menus are simple & switching between the 4 games is a breeze... All 4 control nicely w adjustable touch sensitivity(amazing feature) & u will need the smooth, responsive controls bc WOW! this game gets pretty brutal! its not the quantity of bullets that gets you, like most bullet-hell shmups do. its the VELOCITY!!! some serious fps! lol overall GREAT package of historically significant, arcade quality shmups from the 90s! u will not be disappointed if youre a fan of the genre but newcomers may be put off by its difficulty & by the... primitive nature of the earliest-made title(Raiden) in the bunch. i dont mind... but it is my least favorite of the 4, i will admit. overall, i can easily give it 5/5! + very nice touch controls +lovely presentation +quality shmup gameplay

This collection is great. It also supports the ICade, which I really like, along with the two R-Type games. One complaint I have, and this is a pretty big one, when Im using the ICade, the games start lagging up, all of them. It really gets in my way. I was disappointed to see the ICade causes this lag. Also, there doesnt seem to be enough credits. 3 Credits? How about an option to let the player choose how many credits they receive. And these games seriously have the chance to do multiplayer. Overall though, these games are tough, and I would recommend it to expert players. Casual players, you will have a difficult time, possibly getting past the first stages, but still, these games are really fun and difficult for the right reasons in my opinion.

A perfect port of the classics!. I love it. Runs perfect on my iPhone 6 plus. Smooth gameplay and excellent touch controls. Please release more RAIDEN!

Fun arcade style game

Totally worth the price with original raiden plus 3 sequels ( 4 total). Love the emulation!

Im a huge fan of shumps. I download them all and this is a perfect emulation - with the exception of one thing: clock speed emulation. The game is running too fast. It looks like as if the chip emulation clock speed faster than the original hardware. Fix that and you got five stars. I realize it may be difficult or impossible, so how about a User Option to let us manually tweak the clock speed?

The game is RIDICULOUSLY FAST, even on easy. Graphics are great and gameplay is fun. Brings me back to the good old days. BUT the really fast speed of the game takes away from the joy. Devs PLEASE make adjustments or allow the user to manually SLOW DOWN the speed of the WHOLE GAME, NOT JUST UP THE SPEED of the "FAST TOUCH". Im not pro gamer with super fast reflexes. Just a casual player. I would rate it five stars if it the gameplay wasnt so fast. But until then, I stand by my 2 stars

Love Space Shooters & this has been one of my Crown Jewels of space shooters for a long time. So happy l can finally play it on my iPad!

This game is pretty good, its arcade perfection at your fingers, but its really hard.

You die fast. Bullets fly so fast. Plane should be able to take a few hits before dying.

Buggy. Doesnt move to next missions. Too hard.

Played Raiden X as a kid and instantly jumped on this game. Highly recommend and well worth the money.

With the amount of money required to buy this game, I would expect more than a 2 credit game.

I loved it back in the day, cant complain with an iOS port. Awesome for on the go.

I agree with other reviews about the controls, but would like to add slow to respond to that complaint. I die over and over because either I loose sight of where my plane is or Ive moved my finger but my plane is lagging behind. To me the issue is severe enough to take away 2 stars. Ive almost never paid for an app but my favorite game from my childhood was worth $5. Also, issue is much more exaggerated on the iPhone than the iPad. Fix the controls and Ill find a way to rate 6 stars. Bullets are wayyyy too fast even on level one easy. There are plenty of bullets to make this game difficult. I dont remember this being a problem on any other system Ive played this on.
